Veterans For Peace Santa Barbara unites with chapters across America to increase public awareness of the cost of war, care for members and their families, and educate the public about veterans issues. We are committed to our Constitution and the rule of law. We seek the elimination of nuclear weapons and the elimination of the use of war for political and economic ends.

As I cruise south I will stop in and check in with chapters of vfp regarding southern california projects we can develop and support together. I am now doing so in Oxnard with chapter 112 and Los Angeles will be next. A project to support resistance in the active duty military is high on my list of priorities, since we have seen that recruitment is essentially connected to the economy and out of our sphere of influence (despite the good efforts of counterrecruitment people all branches of the military are exceeding their goals in the current depression?
