I sailed with light winds but big swells to Paradise Cove from Marina del Rey in eight hours….about three miles an hour considering some tacks. I sailed through several large pods of small dolphins. Paradise Cove is as I left it in December, calm and full of life. At night the water boils with small fish and the larger ones chasing them. Dolphins cruise the cove freguently and I hear them from my bunk when the wind stops. I plan to leave tomorrow, Friday or Saturday due to favorable winds to get me past the difficult Dume to Pt. Mugu stretch. I will spend the time in Channel Islands Harbor commuting to Santa Barbara to help with Arlington West and planning my presentation at the conference.
