Armistice Day and the Tenth Anniversary of Arlington West

Sunday, November 10th marks the tenth anniversary of the Veterans for Peace display called Arlington West, located at the foot of Stearns Wharf. We will have as special guest speakers: Congresswoman Lois Capps, County Supervisor Janet Wolf , COL Ann Wright, Mayor Helene Schneider, Steven Sherrill, Jane Bright, whose son was killed in the Iraq War, former Mayor Marty Blum, and others. Arlington West Set-up Date Change

Starting in April Arlington West will change to the summer schedule, where it will be set-up twice a month, on the first and third Sunday. However, because of Memorial Day in May, it will be set-up on the first (5th) and fourth (26th) Sunday. Hope to see you there!

Arlington West Commemorative Installation, November 13, 2011

Arlington West will hold a commemorative installation in honor of its eighth year of existence here in Santa Barbara at Stearn’s Wharf on Sunday, November 13, 2011.
